My AP Lang teacher gave us the assignment to “create a post about who we are.” So then the question came to mind of who am i? We all know its an easy queston to ask but not easy to answer. Sure everyone is going to say they are a nice and sweet person who cares for the world. Is that the truth, probably not. As I type I think of the quote by Demetri Martin. He states “I am a former baby and a future skeleton, and I am a distant future pile of dust.” This statement reigns so true to all. So now may I present who I am!

I am a daughter and a sister, a friend and a classmate. I am nice and caring to most people. Yes most, some people are annoying. I try to be a loyal and trustworthy child. I will admit I might not always be though. I am the girl next door with a lot of spunk. The girl who will never shut up, even if you try to tell her to stop. I am the girl who will dance down the hallways and sing random songs. Anyone with a frown upside down will be changed once im done with them because no one can resist laughing at me. I am the blondest brunette that you will ever meet but is very book smart to get her along the way.  

People can try to break me down but they can’t because I am everything to the world but at times can be nothing. Everything comes from nothing and ends in nothing. Right now im in the stage of everything but will soon become nothing. I am the strong girl who is not afraid to kick some A@#. The little one hundred pounder who is not afraid to defend what she believes in. 

 

I am the fashion diva. Who will never stop trying to find the perfect outfit. Might I add will never ever be found without makeup on until I’m dead. I’m sure once I’m dead I will still in spirit look good. I am self-conscious and hate to not be the best. The typical type A personality.

I am here nor there, nor anywhere, yes you shouldn’t see me I am at home on the computer. If you can see me then that’s awkward, and semi creepy. So GET OUT! Actually im out!

Today I was inspired to write about love. I think the best part of falling in love is the moment when you realize you have those feelings. It doesn’t even need to develop into love but the feeling of being attracted to someone. The scenario that always comes to mind is from teen fiction. You’re walking out of your class and you see the guy that makes your heart skip a beat. He sometimes will stop and talk but you wish that he will stop every day and talk, maybe walk you to your class. As time passes you start walking with each other for more and more time but whenever you get to class you want to say something about liking him but you’re afraid it might mess things up. You both hesitate to hug before he makes his way back to his class that he so sweetly walked you too. Then all you think about for the rest of the day is what he is thinking of.
Boys never understand that girls love to overthink what they say. Maybe the statement of “You look cute today” comes up, what will the girl think? That he is totally checking her out and will think about her over all of the other girls for the rest of the day. What will the guys think? Who knows! Maybe it was just a complement of maybe it ended up being a true flirty saying. As girls we would love to have the guy just come out and say he likes you in text, to your face, leave you a message on your phone it would be amazing. Being typical boys this will not happen but if they took into consideration how we think maybe it could work out. So tomorrow, maybe even the next day when you think you can’t tell the girl or guy you like that you’re into them think again. Give them that hug after you walk them to class, maybe even meet them after school and give them a kiss. Texts, call, or say you like her. No matter what don’t give up on what you want because any obstacle in the way from long distance or the past can be overcome. From feeling the warmth of liking someone to being in love take the risk you only live life once. <3

Christiana ended up writing this song to help kids who feel alone and think harming themselves is the answer which it most definitely is not. So listen and if this songs helps you that’s great! Please help out with kids in need of some support or a friend. When thinking of being mean to a peer or when you see someone being picked on step up and make a difference. One life is a big deal and everyone deserves the right to feel wanted and loved in this world. You would be amazed how awesome you feel when you have been the person to help change a person’s life and that person may not thank you at first but trust me in the end they will. So become motivated and help out today!
